Padouk is a stable type of wood with a very nice grain structure that is known for its rapid discoloration. The bright red color will soon fade to a brown-red color and then after a longer period of time it will change to a silver-grey shade. Padouk decking can be ordered from us in many different widths; 7, 9, 11.5, 14 and 19cm width. All widths are 21mm thick and are widely available in various lengths.
You can also lay your terrace in different widths, for example a combination of 9, 14 and 19 cm.
We have also been offering these planks with blind fixing (B-fix system) for several years now. This is to allow the beautiful structure of the wood to come into its own.
The excellent wood properties of padouk ensure that you can use this type of wood for all applications. While types of wood such as ipé are only good for terrace construction, padouk is a real all-rounder.
