In recent years we have noticed a large growth in renovations of old houses, including a modern extension.
This pearl can be viewed in beautiful Roermond (NL).
The extension is made with 25x40mm afrormosia slats with a small space between them.
The type of wood was chosen because they wanted a vertical covering that came to a flat surface.
With other (lesser) types of wood you had obtained a dirty, wet border at the bottom as well as an ugly graying on the shadow side.
This is yet another wonderful example showing the quality of our wood.
