The customer wanted a decking board that would be a good price / quality deal while adding a warm color to his garden.
Itauba was quickly chosen.
This very solid type of wood starts very yellow when it has just been planed, but discolours to a warm, golden color within a day.
The stability of the wood species ensures that it can still be installed with clips for blind fastening.
