In Ewijk, a sub-municipality of Beuningen (NL), our customer has opted for a unique project.
The customer opted for a beautiful discoloration and a very durable type of wood, the choice of padouk was quickly evident.
However, the architect and end customer had developed their own profile where there was a slight rounding on the front of the boards and the sides running in three degrees.
For such projects, we can have planing knives made in-house to obtain the perfect end result.
Thus, in consultation, the necessary planing knives were made and then the planks were planed in four fixed widths.
The customer chose the widths of 70, 90, 140 and 190mm.
A result to be amazed!
